Following the brutal death of her brother on a military base in Brest, Diana, a young French teacher of Senegalese descent, who had previously denied her origins, decides to investigate this mysterious disappearance, which will lead her from Paris to the village of her ancestors in Senegal, but above all, lead her to discover her family history, closely linked to the colonial history of France.
